Dalmatian Jasper

Everything you need to know about Dalmatian Jasper.

This stone is an igneous Microcrystalline Quartz with a mixture of other minerals creating the speckled look.

These dots were thought to have been Tourmaline, but recent studies have suggested that they are the mineral, Arfvedsonite. It is believed that Dalmatian Stone only crystallizes in large mass form. Its most commonly found in mines throughout the Chihuahua region of Mexico,

It is a member of the Chalcedony, Silicate, and Quartz group with the chemical composition Si02. It is measured as having a hardness of 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale.

Dalmatian Jasper can be polished to a very high lustre and is semi-precious. Most often found as tumbled stones, carvings, cabochons, spheres and beads.

Real Dalmatian Jasper cannot be scratched by a piece of glass or a knife. Real Dalmatian Jasper is opaque, so transparent specimens can be considered fakes.

Dalmatian Stone strengthens the spirit and provides a physicality to the soul. It reminds us we are spiritual beings on a human journey and to joyfully embrace our incarnation while we are here.

Dalmatian Stone opens the Base, Sacral and Earth Chakras, grounding and assisting one in coming to terms joyfully with being in incarnation.

The Base/Root Chakra, is located at the base of the spine, and controls the energy for kinaesthetic feeling and movement. It is the foundation of physical and spiritual energy for the body. When the Base Chakra is in balance, the physical body gains strength and stamina, and spiritual energy is rekindled in the form of security and sense of one’s own power. It often leads to independence and spontaneous leadership.

The Sacral Chakra is located below the naval and above the pubic bone at the front of the pelvis. It controls the flow of energy and is the centre of gravity and Life Force of the body.

The Earth Chakra is located between and slightly below the feet. It holds the soul into carnation and creates a solid connection to the planet Earth, allowing excess and out-of-balance energies to flow from the body.

Dalmatian Jasper helps support the circulatory and digestive systems. It is especially good at balancing the mineral content of the cells of the physical body. It is nurturing and supportive in its application, allowing the body to access its own healing systems in a natural, non-invasive way.
