Everything you need to know about Angelite.
Angelite is a form of anhydrite, which is a crystal made of Calcium Sulphate (
Angelite, also known as anhydrite or angel stone, is a glacier blue- or lilac blue-coloured soft stone that has a white centre and snow-white flecks with occasional brown or rusty inclusions and it is measured as having a hardness of 4 on the Mohs scale.
Angelite is an inherently unstable stone. When anhydrite is exposed to water, it transforms into gypsum (although it can be transformed back by heating it to 200 degrees Celsius). If immersed in water, Angelite will show the traces of white calcium that it contains. Hence, it must not be done.
How Can You Tell If Angelite Crystal Is Real?
Angelite is a semi-transparent anhydrite variation with a delicate glacier-blue or lilac-blue colour.
Small red hematite inclusions may also be seen in some of the specimens. Genuine Angelite crystal often has rusty brownish-red streaks on it.
Angelite may have a lot of crumbling in its natural state.
The cost of Angelite Crystal can be determined according to its transparency.
Angelite best combines with:
Shungite, Smoky Quartz or Hematite: When pairing Angelite with other crystals, consider stones that are known to get rid of negativity. These 3 are good for this.
Rose Quartz: These two gemstones work wonders collectively, especially when it comes to love and relationships.
Amethyst: Combined this helps accelerate the development and psychic abilities and the ability to connect with the angelic realm.
Clear Quartz: Combined their effects are enhanced psychic abilities and an expanded consciousness.

We source our Angelite from Peru. We have two suppliers who have access to the mine for its ethical practices. Both suppliers stand by ethical sourcing and making the community better. They pay their workers fairly for lapidary and mining work. Both are family-run businesses with much expertise and knowledge.
None of our suppliers works with children under age. It is illegal in most countries now to mine with children; the businesses we work with comply and are registered under the Ethical sourcing conduct.
